We concluded the first half of 2025 with pride in the social initiatives promoted by WK Advogados in recent months—a reflection of our ongoing commitment to Social Justice.
In March and May, our Pro Bono team led discussion circles with around 50 young people, aged 14 to 18, supported by our partners Instituto Ana Rosa and Projeto Brasa. The meetings addressed women’s rights, with a special focus on sexual and reproductive rights, fostering information and critical awareness among adolescents.
In April, we took part in the International Forum on Business and Human Rights, a space for debate on the role of states and companies in protecting and promoting human rights, with an emphasis on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles.
That same month, our lawyers participated in MovimentAção, an initiative by the social arm of Colégio Santa Cruz. Alongside other volunteers, we provided legal guidance to socially vulnerable individuals and students enrolled in the school’s evening programs, reaffirming our role in promoting access to justice.
We also carried out volunteer activities with children and teenagers living in shelters and supported the Banho Solidário Sampa Project. Over the course of the semester, more than 700 chocolate milk cartons, 110 pairs of men’s pants, and winter clothing donated by our team members were distributed.
We have several initiatives planned for the second half of the year, always guided by the belief that the law is also a tool for social transformation.
